Very cute. What are they looking at?
sweet photo, i love their little hats : )
great picture… have they just seen Big Foot?
Love that expression…looks like the Gruffalo is descending upon them!
Oh those hats! What an adorable picture!
Aaahh, classic!
I love their outdoor wear…especially the hats! They do look as if they have seen something amazing…in the Rockies, hard to tell.
My Moment ~ a most unusual sunset…..

Love your woodsy travelers!
you can’t tell they are siblings…their expression is identical…I hope you will give us a few words to explain their expression. And look at you avoiding sunscreen magnificently;)
They are SO cute!
Nicola
ha! classic. inquiring minds *do* want to know.
your kids look so much alike there. They look like twins.
Kyndale,
People have been mistaking them for twins since before Rose turned two (because Col is so small for his age). It used to make me sad, but like so many other aspects of parenting (and esp. parenting a child with medical issues), you just learn to shrug it off.
And really, Col is only 1-2 inches taller than her (and weighs *less* – but yikes, I think Dan weighs less than me. Did I just admit that?) so they really do look like twins!
The look on your kids here made me chuckle – the good, it’s-been-a-long-morning-and-this-is-the-much-needed-bright-spot-to-my-otherwise-grey-day type of chuckle.
Have a lovely weekend.
I wish I had some fantastical story behind those looks – like the for reals coyote with the dead fawn in its mouth who ran in front of my bike recently.
I think what might have actually happened was I might have said to the kids in a whispery voice: “hey – listen, what’s that?”
But it was just their Daddy, rambling through the brush after feeling his water bottle at the mountain spring.
so cute, love the looks, no matter what it was at & I agree the hats are awesome!
So cute! Great expressions!
holy cow that is a cute photo!! love those identical expressions…priceless:)
Oh my I love this picture! Their mouths and eyes are the exact same!! The very same expression. Im glad you grabbed your camera at the perfect time to capture it!
:)Lisa
I never even thought they looked that much alike until this pic! I love it.
Oh, and I weigh more than my hubster too. Damn skinny Canadian men. LOL
just adorable.
because of your stories and photos like this, i have the urge to gobble those two up in my arms when i see them are the park or gorcery. but it quickly fades when i remember that i don’t actually know them. it’s funny how this blog has done this to me, and however wholehearted and sincere it might be, i am only a blog reader who happens to live in the same town as the blogger.
keep it up and hopfully soon, i will have the courage to say hello.
Krystal, I hope you haven’t seen us in some of our less graceful grocery store moments. And please do say hi next time.
oh my goddess – what a perfect photo! i too would never have thought they looked so much alike without this mutual expressiveness!
Long sleeves in summer. And tie-dye to boot. So jealous. =>
Sweet adorable ….and so worth a squeeze!
