A prayer

My dear friend gave birth to her third child last Tuesday. Two days later she developed a blood infection of unknown origin and is now in ICU. All my regularly scheduled 6512 programming seems a bit frivolous now while my thoughts are latched to this beloved friend and her family. Incidentally, there are lactating women all over Durango pumping breastmilk for this new baby girl while her mother is unable to nurse, because that’s how we Mamas roll. I’ll be back Wednesday for Homestead Happenings, but until then I’m sending out a prayer.
