Adorable! I’m always so jealous of everyone’s chickens because we can’t keep them in Montreal. Maybe I’ll start a movement…
Jaimie, Last year at this time we couldn’t keep chickens either, at least not legally! All it takes is for someone to start the movement. There are plenty of other urban areas (like Oakland, CA, Brooklyn, NY or Portland, OR) where chickens have been legalized.

I know a blog you would like: Starving Off the Land. I really admire Tamar, the writer. I would love to have chickens, but doubt I’d be a good chicken-keeper.
Alexandra, If you can keep an Inn running, you can probably handle chickens. They actually work best for people whose lifestyles keep them home a lot.
