The contrast of those beautiful little people amid those beautiful snow-topped mountains is wondrous. Sir Col will certainly prevail over the dragons.
Love it, the mullein spike sword; though my hand’s getting tired just looking at him grip that rock!
Where is this? It’s lovely. Also, tell me about mullein. I’ve seen it around but had no idea what it’s called (Leo liked to use some stalks near our old house as pretend tractor gear shifts). The web says it has medicinal uses?
Katie – we were at Hidden Valley (Falls Creek), past Turtle Lake. Mullein is an asthmatic’s best friend. Expectorant and anti-spasmodic to lungs. We make a lung syrup for Col each winter, which includes mullein leaves/flowers. Also, highly recommended for swords and tractor gears.
Awesome! Boys seem to be able to turn almost anything into a sword, don’t they? Mine usually just use a stick, so I applaud Col’s imagination!
